Child Services

The Child Services Program is a multidisciplinary approach to child welfare on Kodiak Island.  The Program Director collaborates with all KANA departments, Tribal Councils, and community partners to coordinate programs to end child maltreatment by: supporting families and caregivers; promoting healing from the trauma of abuse; and providing education and outreach on child abuse prevention and intervention.  The Director may be reached during business hours at the KANA Community Services Building, 194 Alimaq Drive, Near Island.  Also, please take a moment to review the Children's Bill of Rights, as adopted by the Kodiak Area Native Association's Board of Directors, signifying KANA's dedication to the rights of children in our region.
